By placing an order through WhatsApp, the customer agrees to all the terms mentioned below.

APPLICABILITY OF TERMS

• These Terms & Conditions apply to all customers (past, present, and future).

• By placing an order, it is understood that the customer has read and agreed to the latest Terms & Conditions.


SHIPPING POLICY

• Shipping is available across India. 

• International shipments have separate mode of Processing. 

• Cash on Delivery (COD) is available only for orders above ₹600 and not applicable for ready-made shirts or shirt materials.

• Delivery timelines:

  - COD Orders: 2–9 working days

  - Express Orders: 2–6 working days

• Courier partners: DTDC / India Post / Professional (no online tracking in some cases).

• Courier selection is solely at the discretion of Kaitharikada.com.

• Only one delivery attempt call may be made.

⚠️ Customers must follow up with the courier after 2 days of dispatch for delivery updates.

• Shipping charges are included in product pricing.


PAYMENT POLICY

• Accepted modes: UPI, GPay, Bank Transfer, Card (on request)

• Prepaid orders are valid only after sharing payment screenshot / receipt (and will be crosschecked with our bank. 

• COD available as per conditions above & below.


COD RULES:

• If a COD order is refused for ANY reason:

  - Next order will be accepted only if:

    1. Full prepaid payment is made OR

    2. ₹90 advance is paid (adjustable in order total)

• If the second order is not accepted, ₹90 will NOT be refunded.

• Customers placing multiple COD orders (website + WhatsApp) and rejecting one claiming single order will be treated as returned/failed COD customers.


ORDER CONFIRMATION

• Orders are confirmed only via WhatsApp.

• Any confirmation (text/voice) is final. Confirming via call is not accepted.

⚠️ Product availability is not guaranteed until confirmation given by Kaitharikada.com.

⚠️ Even after payment, products may be sold via store/website and will be prioritized unless the confirmation was given from our side.


RETURNS POLICY

Returns are accepted ONLY for damaged products.

Customer have to return the product back to us, addressed mentioned above, initially bearing the shipping expense which be refunded.

Not valid for:

- Dislike

- Thickness concerns

-Colour variation

- Handloom/powerloom assumptions

- Any sign of usage.


DAMAGE CLAIM POLICY

  • Must be reported within 3 days via WhatsApp (from same number used to order).
  • Requested to check for damage right after they receive the product, claiming to have seen it only after washing is not valid.
  • Customers have to ship the order back to us and will not have to bear expenses for shipping the order back to us as it (including shipping cost) will be refunded within 7 working days.

Mandatory Proof:

• Photo AND video clearly showing damage

• Bill & Order ID (for website orders).

• Product must be dispatched within 7 days.

  • Final decision (refund/replacement) will be made after inspection by Kaitharikada.com.
  • If the product is found to be damaged after inspection, we will allocate a replacement product and if that same product the customer had ordered is out of stock or could not find any suitable to taste from kaitharikada.com is the only reason for refund to be eligible.


EXCHANGE POLICY

• Exchanges are allowed but not valid for reasons:

- Dislike.

- Thickness concerns.

- Colour variation.

- Handloom/powerloom assumptions.

- Any sign of usage.

- Ordered wrong product.

- Quality was not up to expectation.


Exchange Procedure:

1. Share product photo of the ones  you received

2. Share courier packaging photo

3. Share bill photo

4. Send the product back to us via India Post (Speed Post only) - kaitharikada.com, TC 82/5046/1 , Tank Road near supply co Behind GPO pulimood statue  695001 Trivandrum Kerala 8075521806 / 7356547334

5. Share courier receipt given from shipping office. 

6. Select replacement product from website kaitharikada.com with SKU. Share the photo on whatsapp. (Important).

7. Wait for receiving SMS from shipping company. Once notifies we will check and inform if the product has been received. 

9. We send exchange orders in two ways - 

 replacement order payment is processed - 

- a) Once we receive the product you have returned at our facility we shall send your new product with the difference amount. If the new product selected has a lesser order total, difference amount will only be adjusted in the next order. If the replacement product selected has an order total more than the previous order customer will have to pay via UPI / bank transfer, cash on delivery not applicable.

-b) You can place the newly selected product as a new order paying full amount and we will send your replacement product the next working day and refund you the amount you paid for the collected order after we receive the returned product (if it meets eligibility criteria for refund as mentioned above). (Also exchange shipping fee for sending the product back to us will be borne by the customer and not refunded).


Customer must:

• Share product photo with visible SKU code

• Company will NOT send product photos for exchange selection

• Exchange must be shipped within 7 days of receiving the order.

• ₹90 exchange fee applicable. Which customer has to pay via UPI - 9633447333@okbizaxis (and share a screenshot).


CONDITIONS FOR RETURN/EXCHANGE

• Product must be unused

• Tag/sticker must be intact

• Bill is mandatory

  • Any usage cancels eligibility
  • Claiming to have noticed any damage after washing is strictly prohibited.
  • Customer has notified damage via Whatsapp 8075521806 / 7356547334 within 3 working days of receiving.


PRODUCT DISCLAIMER

• Colour may vary due to lighting/screen differences.

• Dhoti sizes vary:

  - Double mundu: approx. 3.6m – 5m

  - Single mundu: approx. 1.8m – 2.5m

Customer MUST confirm size before ordering if not mentioned.

• Not all products are handloom / pure cotton.

• Customers must verify product details from website before purchase. (Can be easily done by using code / name mentioned in the product photo). Or should ask via whatsapp as text or voice note. Calls not accepted in this case. 

If not verified, it is assumed customer understands product details.


CANCELLATION POLICY

• Cancellation allowed only before dispatch.

• Not allowed after shipping.


REFUND POLICY

• Refunds via UPI only. Customer needs to share UPI ID and UPI name.

  • Processed within 7 working days
  • Valid only for reasons of receiving Damaged or wrong product.
  • After product is received at our facility, there will be a thorough check for signs of misusing the product and refund will only be valid after it qualifies mentioned regulations. If refund is not qualified, it is at our discretion to refund or not.
  • In case customer is not eligible for a refund, the product will be kept at our facility and customer will have to pay a shipping fee of Rs 90 to receive the returned product again, and the payment is to be made via UPI (mentioned above) and we will send back the product to the same address.

- Colour variation

- Handloom/powerloom assumptions

- Any sign of usage. 

- Quality not up to expectation of customer.

*Final decision on refund/replacement lies with Kaitharikada.com after verification.*


CUSTOMER CONDUCT

• Fake / unreasonable complaints are strictly prohibited.

• Abusive language will lead to blocking.

• Repeated COD refusal may lead to blacklisting.


LIABILITY LIMITATIONS

Kaitharikada.com is not responsible for:

• Courier delays due to holidays or missed calls.

• Incorrect address or pincode mismatch provided by customer

• Delay in shipment or communication due to Natural disasters or unforeseen disruptions, public and local holidays. 


FESTIVAL & BULK ORDERS

• Shipment / message replying may have delays due to increased volume. In this case customer are to visit kaitharikada.com & it is at our discretion of whom to give reply to. 

Issues must be reported within 3 days after festival

• Bulk orders are non-refundable.

CUSTOM ORDERS

Custom orders may have variations / delay in dates rather than the ones promised. It is assumed that all customers understand that such delays are natural and okay. 

If the customers are not okay with the duration of the delay, after paying a prepaid amount, refund will be issued at the sole discretion of kaitharikada.com. 

If customer cancels the order after giving order confirmation and weaving or preparation has started, refund will not be issued. (Prepaid).  

If customer cancels the order after giving order confirmation and weaving or preparation has started, no further orders will be accepted from the customer unless the order value for the order is fully paid provided that the product/s is still available (COD).  

WHATSAPP LIMITATIONS

  • WhatsApp services may be interrupted at any time.
  • Customers must wait until services are resumed by whatsapp). 
  • If payments were made during a disruptive period, customers are to immediately Contact: +91 7356547334 while sharing screenshots of full chat and forwarding voice messages shared both ways, regarding the order placed.
  • If whatsapp messages are not responded within 72 hours customers are to reach out to +91 7356547334, where customers have the right to assume whatsapp services has been disrupted due to unforeseen circumstances.


PAYMENT TIMINGS

• Payments accepted between 10:30 AM – 6:30 PM

Payments outside this time are at customer’s risk.

Product availability or Order confirmation is not guaranteed until confirmation is given from our side as text or voice note on whatsapp.


FRAUD PROTECTION

• Fraudulent/suspicious orders may be cancelled without notice.

• Service may be refused at company discretion.


FINAL AUTHORITY

All decisions regarding orders, exchanges, refunds, and disputes are at the sole discretion of Kaitharikada.com.

HANDLOOM WEAVING

The most authentic way of weaving in Balaramapuram is the Handloom traditional method. The video here is a short snippet from a loom at #kaitharikada showroom at Kovalam Trivandrum, Kerala (South of India).

The weaver in this video is making Mundu / Dhoti using Pure Natural Cotton.
